<p>Reflect Protocol is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform on the Solana blockchain that enables users to create and redeem digital representations of international currencies, known as Reflected Digital Currencies (RDCs). By depositing liquid staking tokens (LSTs) as collateral, users can mint RDCs like US Dollar Reflected (USDR) at a 1:1 value, facilitating a delta-neutral position that mitigates exposure to cryptocurrency price volatility. The protocol generates yield through a combination of native staking rewards from the Solana network and funding rate income from perpetual futures markets. To safeguard user deposits, Reflect employs an insurance fund comprising both cash reserves and validated restaked assets, ensuring a minimum insurance ratio relative to assets under management. Additionally, Reflect operates its own validator node on Solana, contributing to network security and earning staking rewards that are distributed to participants. The protocol emphasizes transparency and decentralization, providing open-source tools and documentation for developers to integrate its services into various decentralized applications.</p>
