It has financial primitives integrated directly into the blockchain and allows developers to deploy their own decentralized applications on top of the chain.</p><p>The network uses a Nominated Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism to help keep Polymesh secure. Validators stake POLYX, the networks upgraded native token, and run nodes. Nodes validate transactions and add them to the blockchain. Nominators can delegate their POLYX to other validators that run a node for them. Both nominators and validators are rewarded for their work, in the case of malicious behaviour they can be fined.&nbsp;</p><p>The ecosystem has also developed the Polymath Capital Platform. It is built to help make smart digital investments easier. The platform is built on the Polymesh platform and allows&nbsp;</p><h3>What can Polymath be used for?</h3><p>The Polymath network provides an end-to-end token creation solution via its self-service Polymath Token Studio. Issuers can create, customize, and manage the entire process. This includes integrations with custodians, broker-dealers, legal firms, token sale platforms, as well as KYC/AML providers.
