POLAR is an innovative token allowing you to generate passive income with staking, bonding, and noding. POLAR-node is a gateway to community-selected DeFi protocols, allowing you to enjoy staking revenue with ease without having to go through bridges and swaps. POLAR-nodes are the tools that allow you to generate high-yield daily rewards while reinforcing the sustainable growth of the token. 

Stakers stake their POLAR on the POLAR web app to earn rebase rewards. The rebase rewards come from the proceed from bond sales, and can vary based on the number of POLAR staked in the protocol and the reward rate set by monetary policy.

Bonds allow users to buy $POLAR from the protocol at a discount by trading it with (1) liquidity (LP tokens) or (2) other assets. The former is called liquidity bonds and the latter reserve bonds. Bonds take roughly 15 epochs to vest, and $POLAR tokens are vested linearly to the user over that period. Liquidity bonds help the protocol to accumulate and lock liquidity, while reserve bonds allow the protocol to grow its treasury, and thus its RFV faster.
