<p>Perpetual Protocol is a decentralized exchange for perpetual futures, using a virtual Automated Market Maker (vAMM) instead of a traditional order book. The vAMM provides liquidity without requiring an actual asset pool, allowing users to trade with up to 10x leverage while maintaining full custody of their funds. The protocol operates on Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Optimism, uses an hourly funding rate mechanism to keep contract prices aligned with the underlying assets, and offers over 40 trading pairs, including major cryptocurrencies and indices. The vAMM architecture eliminates slippage issues common in standard AMM pools, enabling large orders without significant price impact.</p>
