What is Outcome?

Outcome is a prediction market platform built on the Hyperliquid blockchain, focusing on outcomes for real-world events and digital assets. It utilizes the HIP-4 upgrade to support outcome trading, where contracts are fully collateralized and settle within a fixed range based on event resolutions. The platform introduces up to 10x leverage on these trades, enabling users to take amplified positions on predictions without the base primitive's limitations on leverage or liquidations.

Settlement relies on oracles like Pyth and SEDA to verify and finalize event outcomes accurately. Markets cover categories such as sports (e.g., cricket tournaments), crypto price actions, memes, and entertainment results. Users interact by placing trades on yes/no or binary outcomes, redeeming winnings post-resolution.

Technically, it operates on Hyperliquid's HyperCore infrastructure, composing with the HyperEVM for smart contract functionality.
