Orbit is a decentralized liquidity protocol that facilitates the lending and borrowing of Blast assets. Orbit's innovation is to make use of Blast's native yield to provide a better lending / borrowing experience. The protocol is expected to generate yields that are more competitive to existing lending protocols.

Orbit makes use of its own protocol token as the medium to forward future yield. All native yield is first aggregated and given to the Orbit token, thereby setting its valuation to include expected future yield. Lender / borrower incentives are then funded with the Orbit token's inflation - an indirect method of distributing native yield as subsidies.

What Is Fear & Greed Index?

We are assessing Bitcoin's volatility and maximum drawdowns, comparing these metrics with the average values from the past 30 and 90 days. We suggest that an abnormal increase in volatility signals a market driven by fear.

We evaluate current trading volumes and market momentum against 30/90 day averages, then combine these indicators. Typically, high daily buying volumes in a positive market lead us to conclude that the market is excessively greedy or overly bullish.

We analyze Google Trends data for various Bitcoin-related search queries, focusing on changes in search volumes and identifying other currently popular searches.
