Opacity (OPCT) strives to change the game for file storage and sharing. That is a hard fork of the Oyster Protocol, a smart contract platform for a decentralized storage ledger. The fork took effect on November 6, 2018.

Opacity focuses on secure and anonymous sharing of files uploaded through Oyster.

The main advantages are:

1. Dual-ledger integration.

Ethereum blockchain is used as a payment structure. OPCT is ERC20 token pegged to the market value of storage prices.  

Its own Directed Acyclic Graph ledger (the instance of the Tangle) with Proof of Work negotiation between nodes allows uploading and securing user-uploaded data.

2. Anonymity, zero-knowledge proof.
