Nostra is a permissionless non-custodial lending and borrowing protocol built on StarkNet, where everyday users can lend and borrow crypto assets without the need for a trusted third party to act as an intermediary. Nostra builds upon the foundations of well-established money markets (Compound, Aave, Euler Finance) while introducing new features that improve both capital efficiency and composability and takes into account the low gas fee environment of StarkNet.The basic use-case of Nostra is as follows:<ul><li>Lending: Users can provide liquidity to the protocol by depositing their crypto assets and, in return, earn passive income on their deposits.</li><li>Borrowing: Users can borrow crypto assets on the protocol by using their deposits as collateral.</li></ul>Nostra has been designed to make the lending and borrowing experience as capital efficient and secure as possible. In addition to its basic use case, the protocol has several innovative features, such as being able to prevent collateral from being borrowed to minimize liquidity risk and the option to create up to 255 subaccounts to ring-fence assets. More such features will follow in future versions of Nostra.Nostra Swap is the most efficient decentralized exchange built to trade stablecoins with low slippage. Built with an Automated Market Maker (AMM) design, Nostra Swap allows Liquidity Providers to receive fees for their liquidity in the pools.
