Nexus Protocol is the first yield aggregator on the Terra blockchain, functioning as a gateway to yield-generating strategies on Terra and in the future, other connected blockchains including Ethereum, other EVM chains, the IBC, and Solana. Nexus Protocol builds yield optimization strategies and offers these as 'deposit-'based products (i.e. vaults) to users. These products can be thought of as being built 'on-top' of other DeFi protocols, taking advantage of token incentives or other products administered by those protocols. Nexus Protocol is actively assessing and battle-testing yield strategies that involve integration with DeFi protocols outside of Terra.

PSI governance token holders must first stake their tokens in the governance module of the Nexus Protocol WebApp. Users then receive voting power proportionally to the amount of staked PSI tokens. In effect, users with more tokens staked have a greater degree of influence in deciding whether a proposal passes or not.
