Next Earth is an NFT-based digital replica of Earth where users can mint, buy, and sell 10x10m titles of virtual land. This allows them to become citizens of Next Earth and members of the NE economy. Landowners can also meet on a Marketplace if they wish to sell or buy pre-owned tiles of NFT land. Users can log into Next Earth via nextearth.io and after registration, they can access the Map, where any free tile can be purchased up to 1000 tiles at a time if their wallet is connected to Next Earth. Next Earth has three types of land titles: water, urban and non-urban. Tiles can have one of two classes: Art class or Land class. There are some restrictions on what kind of tile can be Art class. All tiles start as a Land Class tile, however, water and non-urban areas can be turned into Art Class land. This is done via the built-in Land Art Module.

Users can buy and sell their land on the Next Earth Marketplace. NFTs sold on the Marketplace follow a slightly different allocation structure since we also give 0.5% of the total sale price to the original NFT owner as royalty.

Citizens owning UNITs will be able to burn their UNITs to create their own Non-custodial Staking Wallets. Once created, users can stake their NXTT in them and get rewards from the Reward Pool automatically. Staking Wallets can be run for 30 days and the actual amount of Rewards citizens can get from staking will be dependent on the number of UNITs burned in the creation of the Staking Wallet and the amount of NXTT staked.
