<p>My Neighbor Alice is a play-to-earn blockchain-based game that is inspired by the success of games such as Animal Crossing and Minecraft. The project was created by Antler Interactive, a gaming studio based in Stockholm, Sweden. It is a multiplayer builder game which targets the traditional gaming market, through which the developers hope will introduce blockchain to millions of players allowing players with zero knowledge of blockchain to easily play the game.</p><p>The game combines elements of traditional gaming via its fun and exciting narrative with the benefits of blockchain technology including NFT and play-to-earn mechanics.&nbsp;</p><p>ALICE token is the game’s native cryptocurrency. It has a total supply of 100,000,000.</p><h3>What are My Neighbor Alice’s key features and how does it work?</h3><p>Gameplay is open-world and takes place on an island complex, known as the Lummelunda archipelago. There are six main islands on which different features and characteristics make for interesting and subversive game play. Anyone can join by buying a piece of land, either from Alice or in the marketplace. Each plot of land is an NFT. Players can then collect and build items, make friends and take part in activities such as fishing, beekeeping, bug catching, and more.</p><p>The game has a variety of features designed to improve and upgrade the gaming experience. For example, all players are represented by an avatar which can be used to interact with others. Each avatar can be personalized and modified with different assets.</p><p>Additionally, many in-game assets can be bought to enhance gameplay. This includes houses, animals, vegetables, decorations, lakes, or other items for a user’s avatar. They can also be bought in the marketplace. Similarly, in-game items can be used to decorate pieces of land that can be modified with lakes.</p><p>Players are rewarded with ALICE tokens for being good citizens on the islands and taking part in quests and community events.</p><h3>What is noteworthy about My Neighbor Alice?</h3><p>The game is intended to be governed by players, and those who hold ALICE tokens. This makes it a community-driven project where gamers can help to dictate the direction they would like to play and introduce new features.</p><h3>What can ALICE be used for?</h3><p>Although the game is built on the Chromia blockchain. The ALICE token is ERC20 compatible, and as such can be traded on exchanges within the Ethereum network.&nbsp;</p><p>The ALICE token has several use cases within the game, and more broadly the ecosystem. This includes purchasing in-game items via the marketplace such as land and cosmetics for avatars. It can also be earnt through taking part in events, such as competitions within the game.</p><p>ALICE can be used for staking.
