MIRA is a meme token on the Solana blockchain, created to raise funds for brain tumor research in honor of a young girl named Mira, who is the daughter of Siqi Chen, co-founder and CEO of Runway. Following the announcement of Mira's diagnosis with a rare brain tumor, the crypto community rallied to create this token as a means to support research efforts led by Dr. Todd Hankinson at the University of Colorado, who specializes in treating such tumors.
