What is Memora?
Memora (formerly Cygnet) is an advanced cross-chain bridge and attestation protocol built natively for the Canton Network. Functioning as a comprehensive deployment layer, the infrastructure allows token issuers to seamlessly bring external assets onto the Canton ledger using their existing lockup or burn mechanisms. By anchoring off-chain documents on-chain through cryptographic hashing, the application enables verifiable attestations without exposing sensitive content or storing raw files on the network.
Operating across multiple ecosystems, including Solana, the platform ensures that every wrapped asset is backed one-to-one by a locked reserve with continuous on-chain verification. These immutable, time-bound attestations serve as trusted inputs for atomic business processes such as institutional settlements, payments, and contract-driven workflows. Through its dual role as an interoperability bridge and a privacy-preserving verification system, the project delivers a highly secure foundation for institutional capital flows.
