What is LM Funding?

LM Funding America is a diversified holding company with two main business segments: cryptocurrency mining and specialty finance. Its Bitcoin mining operations began in 2022 and are conducted through a subsidiary that runs a debt-free mining operation. As of May 2025, the mining segment operated more than 4,300 machines, with a total hash rate of about 480 PH/s and holdings of roughly 155 Bitcoins.

The specialty finance segment is its original line of business. It provides financial products for nonprofit community associations, including the purchase of rights to delinquent accounts in several U.S. states.
