What is LAGOON?

Lagoon is a permissionless, on-chain vault infrastructure designed for asset curators in the DeFi ecosystem. It employs EVM-compatible asynchronous vaults built on the ERC-7540 standard, allowing for flexible deposits and redemptions via a request-and-claim process. Curators can independently deploy vaults across supported chains through the Lagoon Vault Factory, enabling customizable strategy execution. Each vault supports role-based management, assigning distinct permissions to roles such as curator, admin, and valuation oracle. Vault valuation and settlement are handled via an oracle-driven process, ensuring accurate accounting before deposits and withdrawals conclude.

Lagoon’s architecture supports scalable on-chain yield products without sacrificing security or flexibility. Developers and curators also benefit from extensive tooling including SDKs, subgraphs, and management flows within the developer hub.
