Kaskad is a non-custodial multi-asset lending protocol deployed on Igra — an EVM-compatible Layer 2 sequenced on the Kaspa L1 blockDAG via GHOSTDAG proof-of-work. Users supply supported assets (USDC, USDT, USDS, iKAS, cbBTC, wETH, wstETH, SOL) into isolated per-asset liquidity pools to earn variable interest, or borrow against their collateral without giving up ownership. Each pool runs its own utilization curve, and rates adjust automatically with demand — no committee involvement. Loan-to-value ratios, liquidation thresholds, and penalties are set per asset, with hard floors enforced at the contract level.The protocol is built around a proprietary COB (Composite Order Book) Oracle that aggregates order book data across venues with TEE-based ingestion and anomaly detection. Governance operates within bounded parameters with a 48-hour timelock and 24-hour challenge window. Participation-based KSKD incentives are distributed to active suppliers. Kaskad is designed for both human users and autonomous AI agents, which can interact directly with the protocol via an open-source MCP server.
