<p>Hylo USD (hyUSD) is a decentralized Hylo protocol stablecoin on Solana, backed by a basket of liquid SOL staking tokens (LST), which retains its peg to the US dollar by distributing price volatility to the associated xSOL token.</p><p>The mechanism of operation is based on the fact that xSOL takes over fluctuations in the value of SOL, allowing hyUSD to remain stable, and users can use it to calculate, store value and participate in staking through the Stability Pool with automatic accrual of profitability.</p>
