HeavyPulp is a token that originated from a post by the HeavyPulp community on X about gritty underground pulp fiction and classic noir. The hype was fuelled by the buzz surrounding retro crime fiction and dark detective stories. It is directly linked to a real creator — a visual artist / VFX editor / filmmaker going by the handle @heavypulp, who produces dark, psychedelic, AI-inspired art and short videos in the style of ‘freshly squeezed visual amalgamations’.

@heavypulp himself wasn’t initially aware of it, but later officially endorsed the token, stating that it is the only $HeavyPulp he recognises, and plans to integrate it into his “Heavy Pulp universe”.
