Gradient is a liquid staking protocol for locking and staking TAO tokens specifically for the TAO Network, allowing some of the unused staking resources to be utilized within Ethereum and allowing interoperability between ethereum-based liquidity and staking ecosystems and TAO Network, improving both liquidity and sustainability in the TAO network. The combination of GDT and swTAO creates a prototypical staking-based token, which acts as an abstraction layer that enhances liquidity and utility of staked TAO tokens, thereby enhancing TAO network sustainability.
