The system uses its own consensus mechanism that directs almost all available compute power to useful AI workloads instead of traditional blockchain hashing. Contributors receive GNK tokens based on the amount and performance of the compute resources they supply. Users can submit AI tasks to the network, accessing distributed GPU capacity rather than relying on centralized cloud providers. Governance is tied to verified computational work, with additional voting power available through locking GNK as collateral.

December 2, 2025 - Gonka has raised $50M in a funding round from Bitfury.&nbsp; November 28, 2025 - Gonka has raised $12M in a Strategic round from Bitfury.&nbsp; Bitfury is set to purchase 20 million GNK tokens at a price of $0.60 per token. At this stage, 30 million tokens have already been issued and distributed, while the total supply is expected to reach roughly 1 billion. Based on these figures, the implied valuation of Gonka AI for this funding round stands at around $600 million, although this figure is derived from a relatively small 2% share of the overall supply.
The funds raised in the transaction will remain under the control of the project&rsquo;s community and will be allocated to developer grants and various incentive programs aimed at supporting the ecosystem&rsquo;s growth, a representative of Gonka AI noted.
