What is Gavel?

Gavel.xyz is a platform focused on equitable on-chain token distribution and liquidity bootstrapping, primarily operating on the Solana blockchain. It aims to provide a fair, transparent, and efficient way for teams to raise capital and distribute tokens without relying on centralized exchanges, which often charge high listing and liquidity fees. Gavel moves the token distribution process fully on-chain to avoid these costs and to facilitate on-chain price discovery while protecting users from common blockchain trading issues such as MEV (Miner Extractable Value) exploitation, sniping, and sandwich attacks.
