Launched in 2017, the Enjin Coin, ENJ, is a cryptocurrency created by the Enjin company based in Singapore. It is an ERC20 token that operates within the Ethereum ecosystem. Enjin is first and foremost a platform that allows users to manage and store digital assets for use within decentralized games. The Enjin Coin powers the entire Enjin ecosystem which has a focus on NFTs and gaming. Its product suite consists of a marketplace, wallet, and developer platform. It can also be used within games themselves.
ENJ has a total supply of 1,000,000,000.
As mentioned, the ecosystem comprises a range of products and services. Users can enter the marketplace and can purchase, trade, and sell NFTs and other digital items for use within games such as Spirit Clash and Lost Relics. Collectibles, Art, Music, and other types of NFTs can also be listed and traded on the platform.
The Enjin platform also provides an end-to-end solution for creating, developing, and launching NFTs, suited for projects and businesses looking to launch their own collections. Digital assets can be tailored to suit specific use cases with the help of Enjin’s software development kits (SDKs).
Enjin also has its own wallet, the Enjin Blockchain Wallet. It is a software wallet, built specifically for mobile devices, that is ideally suited for storing NFTs, as well as for cryptocurrency. Any digital item created within the Enjin network can be sold for ENJ in the wallet.
Additionally, in-game currencies can also be created by developer games. They are created by purchasing ENJ and then using it to transfer value to the currency. Players can then trade these new tokens amongst themselves and later sell them for ENJ, if desired.
Also worth noting, since ENJ is an ERC20 token, it is automatically secured and powered by Ethereum miners.
ENJ is available for trading on the following CEXs and DEXs listed here. The most popular platforms with the highest liquidity are Binance, OKX, CoinBase Pro, Huobi Global, and KuCoin. The price of ENJ will vary depending on the choice of exchange and overall market conditions. For up-to-date and historic data for ENJ market prices, please view the price charts on this page.
