Dopex is a decentralized options protocol which aims to maximize liquidity, minimize losses for option writers and maximize gains for option buyers - all in a passive manner for liquidity contributing participants. Option pools allow users to earn a yield passively by providing base asset and quote asset liquidity for users who'd like to buy call and put options respectively. SSOVs allow users to lock up tokens for a specified period of time and earn yield on their staked assets. Users will be able to deposit assets into a contract which then sells your deposits as call options to buyers at fixed strikes that they select for end-of-month expiries. 

Dopex makes use of two tokens for the protocol to work in a synergistic manner:

• DPX - vanilla governance and protocol fee accrual token
• rDPX - rebate token - also used for protocol usage.

rDPX is a token minted and distributed for any losses incurred by pool participants. The amount of tokens minted are determined based on the net value of losses incurred at the end of a pool's epoch. A percentage of the losses, which's determined by governance is minted for all pool participants after the epoch has ended. rDPX can be used as collateral to mint synthetic derivatives of cryptocurrencies, stocks, ETFs, currencies, commodities etc. which can then be deposited into option pools to earn further yield for pool contributors.
