Currency One USD (C1USD) is a 1:1 USD-pegged stablecoin issued by Kinesis Money Panama S.A. (Kinesis Panama), serving as the first asset in the Currency One Suite of single-currency stablecoins within the Kinesis ecosystem.

It is backed 1:1 by asset reserves held at regulated financial institutions, with monthly attestations of reserves and an insurance wrapper structured to maintain the one-to-one peg with the USD.

Key mechanics include use as a stable trading pair against assets like Kinesis Gold (KAU) and Silver (KAG), support for cross-border transfers, escrow, collateral, hedging, and participation in lending, borrowing, or liquidity provision. Verified Kinesis users (KYC required) can earn an introductory variable yield on C1USD balances held in their accounts, with no lock-up period; this yield attaches to the verified account rather than the token itself.

It was adopted into the Kinesis Monetary System in September 2025, replacing or evolving from earlier USD1, with phased listings on partner exchanges.
