This rule mandates the exchange of specific information about the originators and beneficiaries involved in digital asset transfers. The platform was founded by Indrek Ulst, who has a background in developing scalable systems for various financial institutions. The core offering of CryptoSwift is an API that enables VASPs to transmit the necessary compliance data securely. This API is built upon an open-source protocol known as STRIP (Simple Travel Rule Information Protocol), which is designed to align with international standards such as FATF Recommendation #16 and the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). In addition to the API, CryptoSwift provides a client dashboard that allows users to monitor transactions, manage data exchanges, and configure organizational settings. The platform also addresses interoperability challenges, such as the "sunrise" issue, by facilitating data exchanges even with counterparties that have not yet implemented Travel Rule solutions .​​
