What is CAP?

Cap is a decentralized, interest-bearing stablecoin protocol built on Ethereum, designed to provide covered yield while protecting principal. It provides credible financial guarantees via two products: the dollar-denominated cUSD and the yield-bearing stcUSD. Protocol enables users to mint cUSD, a dollar-pegged digital asset, using USDT, USDC, or other collateral through an institutional-grade framework. Cap’s architecture connects users, institutional Operators, and Delegators in a yield marketplace: Operators deploy sophisticated strategies to generate returns, while Delegators secure the system using restaked ETH or staked assets, ensuring user capital protection.

The protocol incorporates real-time price feeds via Chainlink to ensure accurate pricing and secure minting of cUSD. To cultivate early user engagement, Cap is hosting a Frontier Program—a phased, epoch-based launch system where participants earn “Caps” for involvement, unlocking perks and long-term community.
