It hopes to achieve this by growing a network of Autonomous Entities (AEs). AEs comprise Web3-based teams and projects developing decentralized tools in sectors such as arts, gaming, finance, and education.</p><p>BIT is the platform’s native cryptocurrency and has a total supply of 10,000,000,000 BIT. BIT token holders are able to take part in platform governance. This includes voting on and submitting proposals for platform development and growth.</p><h3>What are BitDAO’s key features and how does it work?</h3><p>As a DAO, its governance is fundamental to the platform. BitDAO does not have a team of employees or management, instead, token holders and builders are involved in its development and overall success. Anyone can submit proposals, including partnerships and upgrades, and BIT holders vote to either approve or reject the proposals.</p><p>A core component of the BitDAO ecosystem is its treasury. The treasury is responsible for investing in the BitDAO community and facilitating ecosystem growth. Some of its activities include delegating funds and overseeing grants. BIT token holders are in charge of the treasury.</p><p>BitDAO aims to increase the size of its treasury with the help of liquid, short and long term opportunities. For example, developing yield strategies, as well as through token swaps and venture deals.</p><h3>What is noteworthy about BitDAO?</h3><p>BitDAO has several key partners which are crucial to its operations. Participants can commit assets at any point in time to secure allocation. The auction concludes when all available tokens are allocated.&nbsp;<strong>All participants receive the same Final Price</strong>&nbsp;or Clearance Price.</p><p>For example, if Participant A commits $20,000 at $2.00 and after a few days the Final Price is $1.60, then Participant A will receive $20,000 / $1.60 = 12,500 tokens at $1.60 (the same price as all other participants).</p><p>Note:</p><ul><li>when a commitment is made the amount is locked, and the token quantity that will be claimable can increase overtime as the auction price falls.</li><li>participants cannot commit a higher price than the current price. The price is determined by the current time, with the price falling constantly over time.</li></ul><p><strong>Reasons for committing earlier:</strong></p><ol><li>to secure allocation</li><li>to receive a larger airdrop bonus (see above)</li><li>the final price for all participants is the same (for earlier and later commitments)</li></ol>
