What is ARO Network?

ARO Network is a decentralized edge-cloud system that supports content delivery and AI-related computing tasks. It operates without centralized data centers, allowing individuals to contribute unused bandwidth, storage, and computing resources by running network nodes. Participants receive ARO tokens as compensation for their contributions. The infrastructure is based on a previously established network of over 1.5 million nodes. In 2024, the project raised $2.1 million in pre-seed funding led by NoLimit Holdings and Dispersion Capital. The system is being developed to support use cases such as distributed model training, analytics, and low-latency streaming.
