APWine is the first protocol for future yield tokenisation.The project started in August 2020, during the DeFi summer craze, when yield farming was still being introduced to the ecosystem. At this time, it was not uncommon to witness four-digits APYs, which gave the idea for the APWine protocol: what if you could sell your yield in advance and stop having to worry about fluctuations?The protocol works with a two token mechanism, PT (Principal token), which represents your deposit over the period, and FYT (Future yield token) which represents the generated yield over the fix period duration (currently 90 days), which can be interesting for different types of users:<ul><li>Traders can sell their yield in advance or buy yield, so basically long/short APRs</li><li>Arbitragers can use the fixed rate feature to secure profits by doing arbitrages on the AMM pools</li><li>Liquidity providers / farmers can add liquidity in the two types of AMM pools : PT/Underlying &amp; PT/FYT.</li></ul>
