Amnis Finance is a DeFi protocol on the Aptos blockchain that focuses on liquid staking and yield tokenization. Users can stake their APT tokens through Amnis to earn staking rewards without locking up their capital or running a validator node. The protocol uses two primary tokens: amAPT and stAPT. amAPT acts as a stablecoin pegged 1:1 to APT, and stAPT is a yield-bearing token representing staked APT, accruing staking rewards over time​.When users stake APT on Amnis, they receive amAPT, which can then be converted into stAPT to earn an approximate annual percentage rate (APR) of 7.5%. This setup allows users to participate in the DeFi ecosystem while earning passive income from staking rewards. The protocol also supports quick and slow withdrawal options, providing flexibility in accessing staked funds​.Amnis implements a dual-token model to optimize reward distribution and prevent arbitrage. Additionally, it employs a performance score system for validators to ensure optimal reward allocation and maximize returns for stakers​​. The AMI token serves as the governance token for the Amnis DAO, enabling token holders to vote on protocol changes, manage the treasury, and incentivize participation in the ecosystem​.
