Ken Timsit

Ken Timsit is the Head / Managing Director of Cronos chain (Cronos.org) and its Cronos Labs ecosystem accelerator. Equipped with extensive experience in the fintech and blockchain industries, Ken is facilitating the expansion of Cronos’ reach, traction, and impact to make Web3 accessible to the next billion users. Cronos (cronos.org) is the first EVM-compatible layer 1 blockchain network built on the Cosmos SDK, supported by Crypto.com, Crypto.org and more than 300 app developers and partners. Launched at the end of 2021, Cronos has already skyrocketed to top 7 position among all chains by total value locked (TVL) and is used by >800,000 users, growing at 20% per month. Cronos is powered by the Cronos ($CRO) cryptocurrency, which powers an ecosystem of more than 50 million users worldwide. Ken was previously Chief Revenue Officer at ConsenSys, the company behind MetaMask and Infura, where he spent 5 years in leadership roles including global head of sales and marketing, global head of professional services, global co-head of Enterprise. Ken started his career at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he spent 15 years between Paris, New York and Singapore serving as partner & managing director, driving fintech transformation programs at leading banks and capital market firms. In this capacity, he advised the CEOs of the top Corporate & Investment Banks in Southeast Asia. Ken is a frequent speaker at crypto and fintech conferences (EthCC, Consensus, Permissionless, Mainnet, Dcentral, ETH Denver, NFT NYC, Money 20/20). He co-authored several reports and publications on Web3 and fintech. Between 2018 and 2020, he served as a management committee member of the European Commission’s EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum. Ken holds engineering degrees from Ecole Polytechnique (Paris, France) and Ecole des Mines (Paris, France).
