Tokenized Commodities Outperform BTC This Year

This year the crypto market swung from euphoria around the US presidential elections to the deepest fear levels since 2022, and it hit prices hard.

BTC went from a $125,000 ATH to negative performance on a one-year basis, now down about 4–5%.

As a hedge, investors rotated into safe-haven assets. The RWA trend made tokenized commodities more accessible for retail, supporting the on-chain gold and silver rally.

As a result, PAXG and KAG have clearly outperformed Bitcoin this year, each setting multiple new ATHs.
