Mantle Emerges as Largest Layer-2 for Tokenised Active Strategies Despite MNT Price Weakness

Mantle is pivoting toward institutional RWA adoption and is now the fourth‑largest blockchain by tokenized active strategies and the largest Layer‑2, supporting 155+ tokenized equities, $1B+ DeFi TVL, a $955M stablecoin market cap and $120M in tokenized active strategies. Despite full‑stack liquidity builds like Fluxion and xChange offering AMM pools, concentrated liquidity and atomic RFQ routing, MNT token price remains weak and is heading toward a $0.31–$0.33 historical demand zone, showing adoption gains are not yet reflected in token performance.
The Mantle ecosystem is expanding in a direction that its token price simply isn’t reflecting. While MNT continues to bleed on the charts and heads toward a historical demand zone around $0.31-$0.33, the network itself is quietly strengthening its position in the tokenized real-world asset (RWA) sector. It’s another reminder that infrastructure growth and token performance don’t always move together.
Mantle Doubles Down on Institutional RWA Expansion
According to RWA.xyz, Mantle is now the fourth-largest blockchain by Tokenised Active Strategies while becoming the largest Layer-2 in the category.
The network originally launched as a DAO focused on DeFi growth, liquid staking, and yield products. That strategy has gradually shifted toward institutional-facing RWA infrastructure.
By the end of the latest quarter, Mantle supported more than 155 tokenised equities, held over $1 billion in DeFi TVL, recorded a $955 million stablecoin market capitalization, and hosted $120 million in tokenised active strategies. Unlike passive tokenized exposure, active strategies represent capital actively deployed through investment managers, products, and platforms.
Liquidity Stack Continues Moving Forward
Mantle’s ambition extends beyond simply hosting tokenized assets. Its application stack is increasingly centered on building the trading infrastructure surrounding them.
Fluxion Network serves as Mantle’s native spot liquidity venue for RWA-linked assets through AMM pools and concentrated liquidity across xStock/USDC and other asset-backed markets. Meanwhile, xChange provides xStocksFi’s Atomic RFQ route, allowing onboarded participants to receive issuer-direct quotes for minting and redeeming xStocks.
That broader approach supports what Nansen recently described as a “full-stack distribution layer for tokenised real-world assets.”
MNT Price Still Searches for Demand

Despite those ecosystem developments, MNT price remains under pressure. The technical structure continues showing weakness, with price approaching the historical $0.31-$0.33 demand area where liquidity could become the next major catalyst.
Markets ultimately move where liquidity exists, and that zone may determine whether buyers finally step in. Until then, Mantle’s expanding RWA infrastructure and its struggling token continue telling two very different stories.
