ZachXBT Exposes $11.5M BitoPro Breach, Exchange Yet to Respond

  • ZachXBT revealed BitoPro was hacked for $11.5 million and called them out for keeping users in the dark weeks after it happened.
  • The stopel crypto was moved through multiple chains, raising big questions about how users can trust the exchange.

ZachXBT just dropped receipts on a major breach at Taiwan-based exchange BitoPro, revealing that around $11.5 million was drained from their hot wallets on May 8, 2025. What’s disappointing is that BitoPro hasn’t uttered a word about it. They’re still out here running promos like nothing happened, completely ignoring the hack.

BitoPro Called Out for Going Silent After $11.5M Drain

ZachXBT put BitoPro on blast after the exchange posted about a “June Trading Challenge” on June 2. He fired back with a pointed reply:

“Wanna explain to the community why your hot wallets had suspicious $11.5M outflows on May 8, 2025 — and why you still haven’t said a thing on X or Telegram weeks later?”

According to Zach’s breakdown, the stolen crypto was spread across chains like Ethereum, Tron, Solana, and Polygon. From there, it was funneled through DEXs and mixers like Tornado Cash, Thorchain, and Wasabi Wallet to cover the tracks. He even dropped wallet addresses linked to the hack, showing just how far whoever pulled this off went to stay hidden.

People in the crypto space are getting more vocal about how BitoPro’s handling this whole thing or not handling it, really. There’s been zero official word from the exchange about the hack, no warnings, no updates, just the same old marketing pushes and trading events like nothing went down.

That silence isn’t sitting well. More users are now saying they’re pulling funds off the platform and urging others to stay cautious until BitoPro finally owns up and explains what actually happened.

ZachXBT’s been on point when it comes to exposing scams and shady moves in crypto, so when he calls something out, people pay attention. By going public with this BitoPro breach, he’s clearly trying to put pressure on the exchange to come clean and actually step up its security game to protect users.

This whole thing just shows how badly crypto exchanges need to be upfront with their users. When stuff goes sideways, staying quiet only makes it worse. With platforms constantly getting targeted, tight security and real transparency aren’t optional — they’re what keep people’s trust and their money safe.

The way BitoPro’s handling or  straight-up not handling, this mess could end up being a lesson for other exchanges. Ignoring a major breach like this doesn’t just shake user trust, it can wreck a platform’s reputation.
