In a recent X post, Elon Musk announced that Grok 3 will be released on Monday night at 8 pm (Pacific Time), along with a live demo.

In the same post, Musk also referred to Grok 3 as the “smartest AI on Earth.”

In another subsequent post, Elon Musk mentioned that he would be busy with the Grok 3 team all weekend, honing the product, and would remain offline until then.

This announcement follows his recent remarks at the World Government Summit in Dubai three days ago, where he praised Grok 3 as “scary smart” and took a few digs at OpenAI CEO, Sam Altman.

It also comes right after OpenAI’s Sam Altman revealed an updated roadmap for GPT-4.5 and GPT-5, though he did not specify an exact date for the new models. When asked about the ETA for GPT-4.5/GPT-5, Sam Altman replied, “weeks/months.”
