XRP Ledger agriculture funding has reached a breakthrough, actually, as Brazilian firm VERT launched a $130 million Agricultural Credit Certificate on the blockchain platform. This tokenized asset adoption brings real-time financial tracking to Brazil’s agricultural sector, which contributes over 20% of the country’s GDP through blockchain for agriculture innovation right now.
XRP Ledger Agriculture Funding Unlocks Real-Time Tracking and Adoption
The Agricultural Credit Certificate worth BRL 700 million was built using both the XRP Ledger and its Ethereum-compatible EVM Sidechain. This tokenized asset adoption enables operations to be seen freely, and the real-time financial tracking provides end-to-end tracking of payments along with transfers.
Gabriel Braga, Director of Digital Assets at VERT, stated:
“We are enabling operation events to be recorded in the most granular way possible, ensuring traceability and transparency with event records increasingly closer to the moment they occur, approaching real time.”
