The XRP Ledger network is preparing for another mainnet upgrade as XRP Ledger Operations announced that version 3.2.0 will be deployed soon. Alongside the software update, the network is also introducing a major change to its core infrastructure, with the software previously known as “rippled” now renamed “xrpld.”
The announcement was made through a post on X, where XRP Ledger Operations confirmed that XRP Ledger 3.2.0 is nearing release. According to the team, the software name change will affect the tools and infrastructure used by participants that help maintain network operations.
