Michael Saylor says Strategy used artificial intelligence to develop a new preferred stock instrument that helped the company raise $15 billion for Bitcoin purchases, giving it another way to expand its BTC holdings.
Saylor, Strategy’s executive chairman and co-founder, revealed the approach during an August 2026 episode of The Diary of a CEO.
