Cardano Price Prediction for August 2026—Can ADA Break $0.25 as Network Activity Surges?

Share:
On Aug 21, 2026 the crypto market turned decisively bullish after President Trump’s remarks with Bitcoin hitting an intraday high of $79,500 and Cardano’s ADA surging over 15% from the $0.18–$0.19 range to about $0.2175, now approaching key resistance at $0.23–$0.24. On-chain activity supports the rally—daily transactions and active addresses climbed to roughly 32,800 (up from ~24,700 and ~16,700) and ~32,800 (up from ~13,800) respectively—while RSI is elevated and open interest has fallen to about $283 million, indicating spot-led adoption and lower leveraged exposure but leaving ADA vulnerable to profit-taking unless it clears $0.24 to target $0.25–$0.28.
The crypto market has turned decisively bullish following President Trump’s remarks, which have lifted investor confidence and sparked renewed buying across major assets. Cardano, which has struggled to sustain a strong upward move, has now staged a notable rebound as Bitcoin pushed to an intraday high of $79,500. ADA price has surged more than 15%, bringing the token closer to a crucial resistance zone.
Adding to the bullish backdrop, Cardano’s network activity has also picked up sharply, with transactions and active addresses rising significantly in recent days. The combination of stronger price momentum and improving on-chain activity gives the latest rally added weight.
With ADA now approaching a key technical juncture, the focus shifts to whether buyers can overcome the overhead resistance and put $0.25 within reach before the end of the month.
Cardano Network Activity Heats Up Alongside ADA’s Rally
Cardano’s recent price strength is being accompanied by a noticeable pickup in network activity. The latest data shows daily transactions climbing to around 32,800, up sharply from roughly 24,700 a day earlier and about 16,700 two days ago.

Active addresses have followed a similar trajectory, rising from around 13,800 to nearly 23,000, before jumping to roughly 32,800 in the latest reading. The simultaneous increase in transactions and active addresses suggests that the recent move is being accompanied by greater activity across the network, rather than price momentum developing in isolation.
ADA gains momentum as RSI and OI move in opposite directions
ADA price has extended its rebound from the $0.18 to $0.19 area, climbing to around $0.2175 and reclaiming the $0.20 mark. The move has brought the token closer to the 0.23–0.24 resistance zone, putting the next leg of the recovery in focus.

However, the indicators show an interesting divergence. RSI is rising, reflecting strong buying momentum and pushing ADA into overbought territory. At the same time, open interest has slipped to around $283 million, even as the token has continued to rise. In other words, price is moving higher while derivatives positioning is moving lower.
That could suggest the rally is being supported more by spot buying than fresh leveraged positions, which reduces the risk of an overcrowded futures trade. Still, if OI continues to fall while RSI remains elevated, ADA could become more vulnerable to a pause or profit-taking near resistance.
Cardano Price Prediction for August 2026
Cardano’s next move will likely depend on whether buyers can sustain the recent recovery without momentum becoming exhausted. A decisive break above $0.23 to $0.24 could strengthen the recovery and put $0.25 within immediate reach. If buyers clear this range with strong follow-through, the next upside target could be around $0.27 to $0.28.
If the ADA price fails to overcome the $0.23 to $0.24 resistance, profit-taking could push the token back toward $0.20to $0.21. Losing that area would weaken the setup and expose 0.18–0.19 as the next major downside zone. For now, $0.24 remains the line between a continuation toward $0.25 and a potential cooling-off phase.
