Solana ETFs Log $8.8M Daily Inflows, Strongest Since May

Solana ETFs Log $8.8M Daily Inflows, Strongest Since May

Share:

AI Overview

Solana ETFs recorded $8.8M net inflows on August 10, the biggest single-day since May, with Bitwise’s BSOL taking nearly the entire $8.83M and total Solana ETF net assets rising to about $906M (cumulative inflows > $1.15B). SOL price remains stuck near $76 despite rising institutional demand, while on-chain metrics — RWA, stablecoin supply in the mid-teens of billions, tokenized equities and perps volumes — hit new highs. Infrastructure upgrades including Alpenglow (~150 ms finality), Agave 4.2 targeting an August mainnet and xStocks expansion strengthen adoption and protocol capacity, suggesting positive funding and ecosystem momentum for Solana crypto.

Key Insights:

  • Solana ETFs recorded $8.8 million in daily inflows, the strongest single-day inflow since May, with Bitwise’s BSOL taking nearly the entire amount.
  • SOL price remains near $76 despite stronger network activity, creating a growing divergence between the token’s quiet price action and rising activity in RWA, stablecoins, tokenized equities, and perps.
  • Infrastructure upgrades are adding fresh catalysts, with Alpenglow, Agave 4.2, and xStocks strengthening Solana’s ecosystem while ETF demand begins showing signs of returning.

Solana ETFs have topped a three-month quiet stretch with the largest single-day transaction. They recorded $8.8 million in net inflows on 10 August, marking the strongest inflows since May.

Bitwise’s BSOL has absorbed nearly the entire $8.83 million, lifting total Solana ETFs net assets to roughly $906 million. The cumulative inflows have also pushed past $1.15 billion.

The latest Solana ETFs data by Santiment shows a shift in institutional sentiment after months of relative dormancy. According to the data, the Solana ETFs kicked off the week with $8.8 million in net inflows on Monday.

This surge stands out against the largely subdued ETF flow activity seen throughout July and early August. However, the broad price trend remains relatively weak, indicating that the renewed ETF demand has yet to translate into a major SOL price breakout.

The green price line has struggled to recover from its earlier decline and remains well below previous highs. This creates an interesting divergence: capital is beginning to return to Solana ETFs while price momentum remains restrained.

If sustained, these inflows could provide an important catalyst for a SOL price bounce, particularly if institutional demand accelerates. For now, traders will be watching whether the August 10 spike develops into a consistent inflow trend rather than remaining a one-day event.

Solana ETFs Gain Traction as SOL Price Stays Near $76 Despite Network Records

The SOL price has remained dormant near $76 throughout the entire stretch, barely budging for months.  The rest of the network has kept printing records. The token has jumped in a tight range even after fresh capital started testing the ETFs again.

While every other major metric on the chain has moved higher, SOL still sits tight. This divergence has been building up anticipation for the price to finally start moving.

Solana’s RWA value, stablecoin supply, tokenized equity volume, and perps activity have also hit new highs in recent weeks and months. Tokenized equities continue to dominate on-chain stock trading, and Solana still holds the lion’s share of total volume.

Stablecoin supply has also held in the mid-teens of billions, with Perps venues turning over great volume. The network has remained stable even with the SOL price in a consolidation zone.

With RWAs having climbed to new highs and tokenized stocks have kept printing volume, capital and users have continued to show up on Solana crypto regardless of the quiet chart.

Alpenglow, Agave 4.2 and xStocks Stack New Infrastructure Wins

Infrastructure catalysts have also stacked up in Solana’s favor. Alpenglow has targeted roughly 150 ms finality orders of magnitude faster than today’s multi-second confirmation.

Agave 4.2 is aiming for an August mainnet adoption with slot-time cuts, bigger transactions, and rent reduction already on the schedule.

xStocks also expanded its tokenized equity access across Solana-linked rails.  This gives users 24/7 exposure to traditional assets without leaving the chain. The combination looked classic for Solana crypto: quiet price, loud fundamentals.

ETF buyers have started showing up again after months of near-zero movement. Whether the $8.8 million day has marked the start of sustained flows or just a one-off bounce is to be determined. The underlying metrics have already left the dormancy zone. Nevertheless, SOL price still needs to catch up.
