Grayscale Advances Zcash ETF as DCG Weighs $110 Million Token Purchase

Grayscale filed an SEC amendment to rename Zcash Trust and seek an NYSE Arca listing under ticker ZCSH, advancing plans to launch a Zcash ETF. DCG International is in nonbinding talks to buy roughly 200,000 ZEC (~$110 million) through the trust, and Grayscale disclosed the June Orchard vulnerability while highlighting Zcash’s Ironwood upgrade that retired the shielded pool and added anti‑counterfeit protections, a development that supports security, institutional access and broader crypto adoption.
