What is Fuel Ecosystem?
Fuel is an execution layer specifically designed for Ethereum rollups, providing a high-performance, parallelized environment for executing smart contracts. It features the Fuel Virtual Machine (FuelVM), which improves upon the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) by allowing parallel transaction execution and supporting multiple native assets. This setup significantly increases computational throughput and state access efficiency compared to traditional single-threaded blockchains.
The FuelVM leverages a UTXO-based model, which helps in identifying and isolating transaction dependencies before execution.
