Arweave introduces 2 new concepts that allow nodes to perform key network functions without having the entire chain.
- A list of hashes of blocks and a list of hashes of all previous blocks.It allows you to check old blocks and effectively evaluate potential new blocks.
- A list of wallets and a list of all active wallets in the system. It allows you to verify transactions without having the block in which the last transaction was used.
