Crypto treasury firm Strive bought 20 BTC from July 27–31 at an average price of about $63,191, raising holdings to 20,020 BTC but simultaneously issued 110,000 Class A shares, increasing effective common shares from 84,099,973 to 84,209,973. As a result Bitcoin exposure per effective share fell about 0.03% (from ~23,781.2 to ~23,773.9 satoshis) and cash dipped from $154M to $151.3M, highlighting a dilution that works against its Bitcoin-per-share objective.
Bitcoin treasury firm Strive bought 20 BTC in the final week of July 2026, but its gross Bitcoin exposure per effective common share slipped by roughly 0.03% in the period.
Strive’s Aug. 3 filing records 20 BTC bought from July 27 through July 31, at an average price of approximately $63,191, including fees and expenses. Its Bitcoin holdings climbed 0.10%, from 20,000 BTC on July 24 to 20,020 BTC on July 31, and effective common shares climbed about 0.13% in the same period, from 84,099,973 to 84,209,973.
Effective common shares combine Strive’s Class A and Class B stock.
Using the snapshot dated July 24 as the baseline, the disclosed figures work out to approximately 23,781.2 satoshis per effective common share, compared with 23,773.9 on July 31. The 7.3-satoshi gap equals a 0.03% decline.

All 110,000 additional shares came from Class A, and the filing leaves the transaction unexplained. Cash and cash equivalents fell from $154 million on July 24 to $151.3 million on July 31. Any claim that either movement funded the Bitcoin purchase would be speculation.
Using July 24 as the fully diluted baseline, assumed shares rose from 86,694,972 to 86,804,205 by July 31. Gross Bitcoin exposure fell about 0.0260%, from approximately 23,069.4 to 23,063.4 satoshis per share. This denominator adds options and unvested restricted stock units to effective common shares.
Traditional warrants are excluded from it, since Strive reports SATA preferred stock separately.
On Jan. 28, Strive described increasing Bitcoin per share as a long-term objective. The company’s July 6 Bitcoin Yield definition measures the percentage change in Bitcoin per share across a period.
Strive’s Aug. 3 filing reports holdings and share counts, with no weekly Bitcoin Yield. The 0.03% change results from an independent comparison between the July 24 and July 31 snapshots.
Bitcoin Yield stays a supplemental metric in Strive's framing, excluding funding method, debt, and preferred-stock claims that rank ahead of common equity.
Strive named increasing Bitcoin per share as a long-term objective in January, but that number declined in the last week of July. An unexplained share issuance pushed the denominator up during the same period.
Strive's stated goal and this week's numbers point in opposite directions.
