Jump Capital closes $350M Fund 8 to back next-wave AI apps, infra and security

Jump Capital has closed its eighth investment vehicle, a $350 million fund aimed at AI-native companies across the stack. The firm says founder and buyer conversations over the past year point to three linked shifts in how software is built, deployed, and secured.
At the application layer, Jump argues that expectations are rising as workflows that once required manual processes and domain specialists become executable by software. Rather than incremental UX upgrades, entire workflows are being rebuilt to take advantage of increasingly capable models.
Beneath that, a new enterprise infrastructure layer is emerging to support these AI-heavy applications. This includes data, orchestration, and runtime primitives optimized for model-driven workloads rather than traditional CRUD-style enterprise software.
Jump also highlights cybersecurity as a third area of change as organizations move toward more autonomous systems. Security models, monitoring, and policy enforcement need to adapt to environments where agents and automated services make decisions and take actions without tight human-in-the-loop control.
Fund 8 is structured to back founders building at each of these layers, from application experiences down to infra and security. The firm positions the fund as a way to capture the compound effects of these three shifts as enterprises modernize their software stacks around AI.
