InvestiFi raises $20 million to scale embedded investing for credit unions, community banks

InvestiFi, an embedded investing platform for credit unions and community banks, has raised $20 million in a funding round led by Vibe Credit Union, according to The Paypers. BankTech Ventures and several US credit unions also participated.
In addition to Vibe Credit Union and BankTech Ventures, investors in the round included Idaho Central Credit Union, Navari (formerly CUSG), United Financial Credit Union, Coastal Credit Union, Mid Minnesota Credit Union, Truity Credit Union, and Southpoint Credit Union. Several of these institutions are both customers and equity investors in the company.
InvestiFi offers a white-label investing platform that integrates directly into existing online and mobile banking environments. End users can access fractional investing in stocks and ETFs, guided investing products, IRAs, cryptocurrency trading, and stablecoins from within their primary banking app.
A core feature of the product is a patent-pending flow of funds marketed as "Investing from Checking," which lets account holders invest directly from checking or savings balances. The company positions this as a way for financial institutions to keep assets in-house rather than sending deposits to external brokerages or crypto platforms.
InvestiFi's client base has expanded from four financial institutions in early 2024 to more than 60 signed credit unions and community banks as of July 2026. The company reported more than 100% team growth in 2025, alongside new products such as guided investing and stablecoin offerings and over 15 digital banking and core integrations.
The company cites research from Cornerstone Advisors indicating that nearly half of Gen Z and Millennial consumers are currently investing, with 43% having moved funds to third-party platforms. It is pitching embedded investing as a deposit retention and relationship tool for smaller institutions competing with large banks, neobanks, and fintechs that already offer integrated investing.
InvestiFi has also received industry recognition, including Best of Show at the 2025 Governmental Affairs Conference, Best Alternative Investments Solution at the Finovate Awards 2025, and Best Digital Solution Provider – WealthTech at the Banking Tech Awards 2025. The new capital is intended to support further product development, additional integrations, and broader rollout across its existing and prospective FI network.
