AI agent-focused L1 ILITY raises $1M at $80M valuation
ILITY, an L1 blockchain targeting the autonomous AI agent economy, has raised $1 million at an $80 million valuation, according to an official announcement cited by ChainCatcher. The strategic round is backed by Archer Capital and TBV.
The new capital will support ILITY's push into the emerging agent ecosystem, with the project saying its AI agent economy is set to launch soon. The funds are earmarked for further development of protocol infrastructure and related agent tooling.
ILITY Network is designed as infrastructure for autonomous AI agents, offering verifiable on-chain identities, real-time machine-to-machine payment settlement between agents, and a portable reputation system built on verifiable on-chain performance records. Its native token, ILY, functions as the gas and settlement asset in the network.
According to ChainCatcher, ILITY has previously received backing from institutional investors including Animoca Brands, DuckDAO, UZ Capital, and Vega Ventures. The latest raise positions ILITY alongside other AI-crypto infrastructure projects aiming to capture anticipated demand for agent-native identity and payments rails.
