Blockpit has acquired Accointing from Glassnode in a “multi-million-dollar” cash deal. This marks the company’s second acquisition, following its purchase of rival Cryptotax in 2020. The acquisition comes ahead of new crypto tax laws in the European Union, which compel crypto companies to report customer holdings information, with member states having until 2025 to implement the rules before they come into effect in 2026. The acquisition positions Blockpit as a significant player in the European crypto tax landscape, alongside TaxBit and CoinTracker in the US.
