Amazon’s new Proteus robot takes voice commands and roams warehouses

Amazon upgraded its Proteus warehouse robot to take voice commands and roam entire fulfillment centers and will begin a European rollout in 2027 as part of a €10B investment. While not a crypto announcement, the scale and funding of this automation push could accelerate adoption of blockchain and tokenized logistics solutions, raise security and infrastructure demands, and create opportunities for crypto and DeFi integrations.
