Anthropic makes auto mode the default in Claude Code

Anthropic will make auto mode the default in Claude Code on August 14 for Pro, Max, and Team plans after an internal study found human reviewers intercepted only 13.6% of dangerous commands. The security-focused product update aims to reduce operational risk and reviewer burden and could improve developer adoption and reliability of the Claude Code offering while remaining neutral for crypto markets, DeFi projects, token launches or CEX/DEX activity.
